Procurement of the next GDS Framework

The procurement of the next GDS Framework is currently underway and the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) notice was published on 13 May 2011. Successful suppliers will work with the Government Decontamination Service Team within the Food and Environment Agency to test and assure operational capability, and provide decontamination and related services following deliberate releases of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) materials, and from major releases of hazardous materials (HazMat).

Remediation and Decontamination related issues

The GDS can offer free advice and guidance to support those responsible for decontamination and/or remediation following a CBRN Incident.
