Living in York

York itself is a pleasant City and has a wide choice of housing with older town houses within the City walls and newer developments on the outskirts of the City. The market towns of Pocklington and Malton are also within easy travelling distance of Fera, as are the numerous villages located to the north, east and south of York.

Transport links to York are exceptionally good, with fast rail services to major towns and cities. A short trip takes you into some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery in England, in the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Parks. The Yorkshire coast is equally near.
